32F-1 on Shelf
The 32F-1 25 watt AM transmitter was designed in late 1934 and put into pilot production in very early 1935. 25 units were built according to the original owner Bill Johnson, a Collins engineer and SK, who kept it until he donated it to a museum in the mid ’90s. It is only one of three known to survive relatively intact. The 32F never went into full production since it was replaced by the 32G almost immediately. This example still has the original Collins final tubes in it.
