Current News from the CCA:
The CCA Annual Banquet is going to be held on May 17th this year at Dayton Hamvention. The venue is The Barrell Room located about 8 miles north of Xenia Fairgrounds in Yellow Springs, Ohio. We will have a meet and greet session from 6pm to 6:45 followed by dinner and the presentation about Collins HF Communications from 1955 to 1980. The cost of the dinner will be $30/each which will include free beer since the Barrell Room is a craft brewery. We will have a raffle with one of the prizes being a Tiny SA Ultra. We are looking forward to seeing everyone there at Dayton! If you want to attend then please RSVP by emailing skerr@trackersoft.com.
As an added bonus this year, Jim Stitzinger will be bringing the Collins Van which will be parked inside building 1. The Hamvention is allowing us to use the MFJ booth in Building One so we can showcase the Collins Van this year. This is a unique opportunity to see the Van and sign the back door with your Call Sign.
