Dennis Day Retired Collins Director of Engineering HF Comm Products

  • Dennis Day joined Collins radio during the early S-Line era and learned at the side of Gene Senti, the then Group Head for Amateur HF products. Dennis was the lead engineer on a number of our favorite S-Line products and probably one of his favorites and ours is the 75S-3, certainly the best of the S-line receivers. Following Gene’s retirement, Dennis became the Director of Engineering for HF Commercial and Amateur products and saw the group through the end of the Amateur Radio period at Collins. Denny is now retired and collects Studebakers. He is a good friend of the CCA.
